Deutsche Telekoms (DT) football offering has met with a lukewarm reception from German sports fans.
DT, which operates the T-Entertain IPTV service, has only signed up 30,000 subs, according to German national press. The telco is paying a reported Â65m a season for the football rights. Earlier this month DT said it would no longer work with pay-TV operator Sky on soccer coverage. The two had worked together on match-day programming, but they have terminated that agreement and will produce separate content from this season.
