France’s Viapass chooses Microsoft Mediaroom

French telecom provider Viapass, which foxuses on the business-to-business market, has chosen Microsoft Mediaroom as the platform for its Viapass TV service, which provides IPTV services to hotels, hospitals and luxury residences.

Microsoft Mediaroom will enable Viapass to deliver services including standard and high-definition live TV, video-on-demand and interactive applications over a private IP network. The company has initially targeted the hospitality market on the French Riviera.
