MTG refinances SEK3bn loan facility

Nordic free and pay-TV provider Modern Times Group (MTG) has successfully refinanced its SEK3bn (€275m) loan facility, due for repayment in April 2010.

The new SEK3bn three year term loan, which was oversubscribed, has been arranged by DnB NOR Bank ASA, Nordea Bank AB, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB and Svenska Handelsbanken AB as mandated lead arrangers and by Swedbank AB as joint lead arranger.

MTG arranged the 2008 credit facility to finance the acquisition of Nova Televisa Bulgaria.
