Brandenburg signs up with Eutelsat for rural broadband

The state of Brandenburg in Germany has teamed up with satellite operator Eutelsat as part of its drive to provide broadband services to rural areas.

Eutelsat is one of the partners working to meet the Brandenburg government’s objective of providing broadband services to remote parts of the state. The satellite operator will provide its Tooway satellite broadband service to interested households and companies, via local service providers SkyDSL and dsl2u, for €39.95 a month if subscribers sign up for 24 months.
