CSA to consult on vacant DTT frequencies

French media regulator the CSA is to launch a public consultation on the future use of the two digital-terrestrial TV frequencies relinquished by former pay-TV services AB1 and Canal J, according to a report in La Tribune newspaper.

According to the newspaper, the CSA will consult on whether the vacant channels should be used for new pay or free-TV offers, video-on-demand or the HD transmission of a service already present on the platform.
