RSCC’s Express-A satellite reaches end of life

Russian satellite operator RSCC has announced that the Express-A No.3 satellite has been put out of service.

The satellite was delivered to the 11° West orbital position in June 2000 and had a service life of seven years. All communications channels using the satellite have been transferred to the Express-AM44 satellite.
