UPC Slovakia attracts 40,000 digital cable TV subs

UPC Slovakia has attracted 40,000 digital cable TV subscribers.

The operator said its UPC Digital TV service is now available to 310,000 households in six cities, including Bratislava, where one in five households connected to the cable network take digital TV services. The operator also offers digital TV services via satellite under the UPC Direct brand. In total, the operator has 70,000 digital TV subscribers across both platforms.

UPC Digital, which costs €9.90 a month, offers six HD channels, DVR and multiroom services.
