Croatia’s Iskon extends promo and plans to launch movie channel

Croatian ISP Iskon has extended its promotional offer of providing HBO’s premium service for only HRK1 (€0.13) for the first three months, and has announced plans to add a new locally produced movie channel, Cinestar TV, to its recently launched IPTV offer.

Iskon will extend the HBO promotion until the end of June. The service provider, which is backed by Deutsche Telekom-owned incumbent T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT), offers IPTV in Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Pula, Osijek, Velika Gorica, Samobor, Opatija and Solina. The service is aimed at a younger demographic than T-HT’s own MAXtv service.
