Unitymedia calls for municipalities to step up

German cable operator Unitymedia’s CEO Parm Sandhu has called for municipalities in rural areas to take advantage of the operator’s investment in rural broadband.

Municipalities have until June 30 to strike agreements with the operator, which as committed to invest in networks in rural areas in North-Rhine Westphalia and Hesse.
