Norway launches mobile TV with Korean technology

Norwegian mobile TV operator Norway Mobile TV (NMTV) is set to launch a trial mobile TV service later this month after striking a deal with the Korea Communications Company to use its technology. 

The service, which is operated by NRK and a raft of commercial broadcasters, will use Korean terrestrial DMB technology to launch in Oslo. It will include six channels at first and is expected to launch a further three in the coming months.
