New features and channels for MAXtv

Croatian telco T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) has added new functionality and channels to its MAXtv IPTV service.

T-HT has redesigned and simplified the user interface for the service, allowing horizontal and vertical browsing of channels and video-on-demand programmes, poster views of VOD titles and one-click ordering of VOD sessions. Viewers can also customise their own user guides, and also use a mosaic guide to view the current programme on nine channels simultaneously.

Multi-play customers will also be able to view email on the TV as well as checking their accounts, check weather forecasts and other information, and create web RSS feeds.

T-HT has also added four new channels – Sky News, Fox Life, Fox Crime and National Geographic Music – to MAXtv’s basic tier.

MAXtv currently has about 150,000 subscribers.
