RTE wants Irish DTT review




Irish state broadcaster RTE is understood to have asked the government to review the plans for DTT roll out in the country.

The news follows last week’s decision by the Boxer-led consortium, which won a tender to provide DTT services, to hand back the licence. Local reports suggest that RTE, which is building the DTT network, and Boxer were locked in a dispute over a €20m security payment that RTE was demanding.
