News Corp could be sizing-up French pay-TV market

News Corp is interested in investing in France’s pay-TV market, according to a report in French newspaper La Tribune.
According to the newspaper, News Corp’s chairman and CEO, Europe and Asia, James Murdoch has commissioned a French investment bank to study the country’s pay-TV market. Murdoch is believed to have met with potential in the past year, according to the report.
