UK free-to-air digital satellite BBC and ITV joint venture Freesats
DVR service, Freesat Plus, will launch in November with the
commercialisation of the Foxsat-HDR set-top box from Humax.
The twin-tuner device will be equipped with a 320GB hard drive that can store up to 80 hours of HD or 200 hours of SD programming. The device will also support Freesat Plus features such as series recording, live pause and instant rewind, schedule tracking and split recordings. The device will retail for around £299 (EUR376.11) excluding satellite installation.
