Canal Plus faces churn reduction

French pay-TV operator Canal Plus CEO Bertrand Meheut has reported a
slight growth in churn but said the company has not begun to feel the
effects of the current global financial situation.
Meheut made the comments during an interview with a French radio station, adding that the country’s planned additional tax on private broadcasters was inappropriate given the challenging economic situation they faced.
