KDG licenses Rovi EPG

German cable operator KDG has licensed Rovi’s EPG patent portfolio. KDG has licensed Rovi’s EPG patents under an agreement between Rovi and NDS. In April, NDS signed a multi-year licence agreement for Rovi’s EPG patents that allows it to offer licensed EPGs to its pay-TV platform operator customers in specified countries.
