Accedo launches Xtend Partner Hub, to enhance deployment of XR experiences

Video solutions provider, Accedo, has rallied with leading tech outfits to launch a dedicated partner ecosystem, the Xtend Partner Hub, to enable spatial computing deployments for video service providers. Each company will provide the technology and expertise to enhance the delivery and boost monetisation of XR experiences.

Among the key partners are Ateme, Jump Data-Driven Video, Quintar, Six Floor Solutions, SyncReality, and Tiledmedia.

Ateme delivers video compression and delivery solutions to help boost viewership and subscription engagement. Jump uses big data, AI, and ML to offer advanced insights and personalisation. Quintar enables the convergence of physical and virtual worlds to transform ordinary spaces.

While, Six Floor’s solutions enable automatic video processing for on the fly events timeline, highlights and metadata generation, as well as customised event filtered playlists. SyncReality is a XR software suite for auto-adaptive content, and Tiledmedia’s solutions efficiently stream the highest quality VR and interactive multiview experiences.

José Somolinos, solutions strategist & XR lead, Accedo, said: “There is a growing appetite among content providers and sports bodies to experiment with creating and delivering immersive XR experiences. However, with so many providers all promising to deliver cutting-edge technology, it can be challenging for video providers to determine the right tools for their service. The Xtend Partner Hub is designed to give these organizations an easy and quick route to creating immersive experiences for their customers, using best-in-class technology. By bringing together content owners and technology enablers, we are able to accelerate the creation of XR content, repurposing existing video, metadata and assets into immersive interactive experiences.”

The Xtend Partner Hub goes live today, with more technology partners expected to join the project.
