Volia adds raft of new channels to line-up

Ukrainian cable operator Volia has added seven new channels to its packages.

The operator has added channels History 2, Fashion TV, family channel KinoKazka, cinema offering KinoLiving, Asian content-themed channel Dorama, action, horror and crime move channel Kinowood, and local music and showbusiness-themed channel Muzvar to its line up.

The latest additions follow hard on the heels of Volia’s addition of Viasat’s channels to its line up. Volia is now offering Viasat World Kino, Viasat Explore, Viasat History, Viasat Nature, Viasat Kino Action, Viasat Kino Comedy, Viasat Kino, Epic Drama, Viasat Kino Megahit, without levying additional charges to its customers.

The Viasat channels were returning to the Volia network after an absence imposed by the country’s media watchdog over concerns about the company’s links to Russia.

Volia has also recently added several local Ukrainian channels to its line-up.
