New Zealand Rugby & Endeavor Streaming unveils D2C service NZR+

New Zealand Rugby (NZR) has tied with technology outfit Endeavor Streaming to deliver its free, direct-to-consumer streaming service, NZR+.

New Zealand Rugby NZR+ will feature on-demand content of the New Zealand Rugby including original programming and behind-the-scenes footage of the national teams – All Blacks, Black Ferns and All Blacks Sevens, to viewers worldwide.

The launch comes ahead of the Rugby World Cup which kicks off on Friday September 8. The streaming platform will be available to watch online via  nzrplus.com, and will debut on iOs and Android mobile apps, as well as, big screen devices such as Samsung TV, Apple TV, Android TV and LG TV.

NZR CEO, Mark Robinson said: “NZR+ is the result of a simple concept, to be more fan-centric. With the investment and technology capabilities of Silver Lake, alongside the collaboration across rugby especially within the All Blacks and Black Ferns team environments we have built a product that aims to unify and inspire at a global scale.
