Galicia-based R adds Prime Video to line-up, offers three-month trial subscription

Spain’s Galicia-based cable operator R, owned by MásMóvil via the Euskaltel Group of northern Spanish operators, is expanding its entertainment line-up by adding Amazon’s Prime Video to its offering. The company, which is owned by Euskaltel, already supplies Netflix and DAZN to its subscriber base,

Prime Video is available from today and R is giving its customers the opportunity to obtain a 3-month trial subscription to Prime and the rest of its entertainment content if they purchase the platform’s ‘Infinite Combo’ before September 30. As in other markets, Prime subscription will also give customers access to free shipping and adjacent services such as Amazon Music, Prime Reading, and Prime Gaming.

After the subscription period ends, R customers can access a variety of tiers as the following price points: €10/month for the Netflix option; €14/month Netflix + Prime; €18.99/month and €29.99/month for DAZN Essential and Total, respectively.

“We are delighted to add Prime Video to the range of content we already offer to our Netflix and DAZN customers,” said Alfredo Ramos, director of R. “We trust that they will feel free to truly enjoy the best series, movies and sports.”
