CME’s streaming platform Voyo opens for business in Croatia

As advised earlier this summer, CME-owned broadcaster RTL Croatia has now rebranded its Play Premium streaming platform as Voyo (commencing August 27). This bring the service into line with CME’s streaming strategy across Central & Eastern European, where Voyo has built a subscriber base of 570,000 to date.

The service, which offers a broad array of content around the clock will be priced at €5.99 for new subscribers. Existing subscribers will continue at their current €3.99 price point for now. Among key benefits of subscribing to Voyo, content will be available ad free and ahead of regular linear transmission on RTL Croatia

Available across all major platforms, key highlights in the 10,000 hour catalogue include scripted series San Snova, about an elite footballer having to deal with a career-ending injury, and a long-running local adaptation of reality format Farmers Wants A Wife (Ljubav je na selu). All international content will be translated into Croatian and sports content will be streamed with Croatian commentators.

CME acquired RTL Croatia in 2022 and signalled its intention to rebrand the streaming service in June 2023. The Voyo brand is now active in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania and Slovenia.
