Dyn goes live with Pixum Super Cup 2023

Germany’s new streaming service Dyn goes live today with coverage on the Pixum Super Cup 2023 handball competition.

The Super cup kicks off this evening with German Handball-Bundesliga champion THW Kiel, going up against DHB cup winner Rhein-Neckar-Löwen.

The streamer is the product of a joint venture between Axel Springer and former DFL chief Christian Siefert. The company, originally called S-Nation, changed its name to Dyn Media last year.

Experts Stefan Kretzschmar and Dagur Sigurdsson will provide analysis of the games, with Anett Sattler and Hannah Nitsche acting as moderators. Florian Schmidt-Sommerfeld will also commentate on the matches.

Along with handball, Dyn will broadcast table tennis, basketball, volleyball and hockey on the streaming platform. The Hockey Bundesliga is due to take place on September 10 which Dyn will deliver free programming on its YouTube channel. The British Basketball League Cup debuts on Dyn shortly after from September 22.
