United Media secures Portuguese Primeira Liga rights

United Group-owned south-eastern European media outfit United Media hyas signed a multi-year contract with Portugal’s Primeira Liga for exclusive rights to broadcast matches of the Portuguese football championship on its Sport Klub channels in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia.

Sport Klub’s audience will be able for the 34 weeks of the season to watch live coverage of Porto, Benfica, Sporting and other top Portuguese teams.

Four Serbian players are playing for Primeira Liga teams this season – Marko Grujić in Porto, Mihailo Ristic from Benfica, Mirko Topić from Familisao and Nikola Bursać from Vizela.

Croatia will have five players: Toni Borevković Gimaraes, Petar Musa Benfika, Nino Galović Aruka, Renato Pantalon Rio Ave and Fabijan Buntić Vizela, while Bosnia and Slovenia will have one representative each – Nermin Zolotić in Kasa Pia and the Slovenian Robert Boženik in Boavista.
