Vodafone Deutschland launches Apple TV+ on GigaTV

Vodafone Deutschland has revealed it has launched Apple TV+ on its cable platform GigaTV.

The Apple streaming service can be accessed via Giga TV Cable Box 2 and also on the GigaTV Net Box.

Apple TV+ programming includes Ted Lasso, Severance, Shrinking, Pachinko, The Morning Show, Black Bird, Bad Sisters, For all Mankind, Slow Horses, Tehran, Trying, Servant, Schmigadoon and The Last Days of Ptolemy Gray.

Marc Albers, head of broadband at Vodafone: “With Apple TV+, we are now integrating another first-class streaming service onto the GigaTV platform, which offers film lovers a varied program with high-quality series and films. Other popular providers will follow.”

Vodafone also offers GigaTV in combination with Apple’s premium entertainment device Apple TV 4K (Generation 3). Apple TV 4K provides Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Fitness+ and Apple Arcade. GigaTV offers classic television on Apple TV 4K with up to 120 TV channels in SD and HD quality as well as access to the content of up to 69 media libraries.

The bundle of premium entertainment device and first-class TV entertainment offering is priced at €9.99 in the first six months of the 24-month contract period and €19.99 per month thereafter.
