MYTF1 launches on Amazon Fire TV

French broadcaster TF1’s MYTF1 streaming offering has launched on Amazon Fire TV.

TF1 said that the partnership between it and Amazon reflected the drive of the company to match changes in the way French viewers consume video and to make its content available on all platforms.

Any viewer equipped with an Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube and Echo Show 15 or a compatible smart TV would be able to access MYTF1 by downloading the relevant app.

Users will also be able to discover content using remote controls equipped with Amazon Alexa voice control, using the command “Alexa démarre MYTF1”.

Users of MYTF1 can access a catalogue of 5,000 hours of contenet including over 100 films, international and French series, mangas and animated series.

The service also includes FAST channels built around the genres of series, humour, manga, kids and reality TV.

French viewers can subscribe to premium offering MYTF1 MAX for €4.99 a month, which gives them access to five live channels – TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Séries Films and LCI – avant-premières available 48 hours before live broadcast of daily series, 30-day catch up and no advertising.

“The partnership struck with Amazon marks a new stage in the deployment of MYTF1 across all screens, with it now being accessible to close to 85% of French people equipped with a connected TV. We are delighted to be able to offer the richness and quality of our content including The Voice, Koh-Lanta and Quotidien to users of Amazon Fire TV,” said Claire Basini, deputy CEO, B2C at TF1.
