Nuuday companies to offers services via SEF Fiber

Danish service provider Nuuday’s YouSee, Hiper and TDC Erhverv units have struck an agreement with fibre operator SEF Fiber to offer their services over its network.

The agreement gives the three brands access to 23,000 additional homes in the Svendborg and Langeland regions of South Funen.

The agreement with Nuuday is the most extensive that SEF Fiber has entered into since the fiber network was opened up to service providers in June 2021.

YouSee, Hiper and TDC Erhverv will soon move onto SEF Fiber’s fibre network through OpenNet’s joint industry platform, which provides a link between service providers and fibre operators to open up fibre across Denmark to a range of competing providers.

No date has yet been set for Nuuday companies to start offering services via the network.

“It is important to us that consumers have the opportunity to choose the digital solutions that best suit their needs. That is why I am also happy that we already cover the majority of the fibre landscape in Denmark through cooperation agreements today. The fact that we will soon also be able to offer flexible TV solutions and lightning-fast internet from YouSee and our sister company Hiper to South Funen residents through SEF Fiber’s fiber network is another important step on the journey towards our ambition for all households to get the best products and the best connection at home,” says Christian Morgan, director of YouSee.

John Henriksen, director of TDC Erhverv, said: “It is our ambition that companies across the country should have access to the best digital business solutions as well as lightning-fast, stable and reliable internet via fibre. We are therefore pleased to soon be able to offer our products via SEF Fiber’s fiber network.”

CEO of SEF Fiber, Claus Holm Andersen, said: “We have continuously opened up the fibre network to more and more providers and are now happy to be able to welcome Nuuday’s strong brands YouSee, Hiper and TDC Erhverv. This gives households and business addresses with a fiber network with us even more options to choose the solution that best suits them.”
