Virgin Media O2 unveils plans to open new multi-million-pound UK headquarters 

Virgin Media O2 has unveiled its plans to shut down it’s Hammersmith and Slough sites, which will be replaced with a new UK headquarters in Paddington Central.

Following a comprehensive review of its property portfolio, the company aims to close the Hammersmith and Slough offices by the end of next year.

The new HQ building will be located in Paddington Central’s 3 Sheldon Square. Virgin Media O2 expects building plans to commence later this year after signing the lease with developer, British Land,

Company staff will be based at Virgin Media O2’s  existing offices in Green Park and Reading, as well as the new office in Paddington,

The company said there have no plans to reduce staff headcount following the closure of its Slough site which is due to take place in June.

Ideally situated in an easily accessible and bustling area, and being just a short journey away from our Reading hub, means this new site will give our people and the business the space we need for future success.”
