Von Ratibor will join Tele Columbus’s management board on March 1 and will take over as CFO on April 1.

She was most recently responsible for the CFO services business of the management consultancy Alvarez & Marsal in Germany. Before that, she held various C-level positions in the technology industry, including head of group risk management and group auditing at Deutsche Telekom.

Walters has been chief financial officer of Tele Columbus AG since July 2018, prior to the 2021 takeover of the company by Kublai.

“After 15 successful years at Tele Columbus and four years as Chief Financial Officer, Eike Walters has decided to leave the company. On behalf of the Supervisory Board and the employees of Tele Columbus, I would like to thank Eike Walters and wish him all the best for the future, both personally and professionally,” said Marc van’t Noordende, chairman of the supervisory board of Tele Columbus.

“We are very pleased that in Jeannette von Ratibor we have been able to recruit an experienced manager and proven financial expert as the new CFO for Tele Columbus. Thanks to her decades of experience in the financial sector and in the technology sector, she is predestined to further advance the existing growth strategy of Tele Columbus AG and thus further strengthen the company’s leading position in fibre optic network expansion.”

Walters said: “After intensive years in the Tele Columbus Group, I would like to make a career change. Now that the restructuring phase has been successfully completed, the right time has come for this. I would like to thank the Supervisory Board and my colleagues in the management team for the excellent cooperation – as well as all employees.”

Von Ratibor said: “In my new role at Tele Columbus AG I can combine my professional passions for finance, digitization and technology companies. I am really looking forward to this new task and to accompanying the company on its growth path together with my colleagues. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my predecessor Eike Walters, for whom it is particularly important to ensure a successful handover.”
