Dyn Media selects Deltatre to support sports-themed streamer launch

Tech solutions provider Deltatre is helping streaming platform Dyn Media to build a new OTT service aimed at sports fans across German-speaking Europe. Launching in Summer 2023, the OTT platform will play a core role in Dyn Media’s mission to create a new home for sports fans in Germany, with handball, table tennis, basketball and volleyball content part of the service.

Dyn Media focuses on sports beyond soccer and has recently acquired exclusive media rights for various handball, basketball and volleyball events. Fans of the new service will be able to enjoy live games as well as highlights and other on-demand content via the streaming service.

Deltatre will implement an array of its products in the build, including its publishing platform, Forge, user experience platform, Axis, customer experience platform mtribes, and Diva, its video experience platform.

Over the last year, Deltatre has built a number of streaming services and recently launched an out-of-the-box OTT platform that caters for niche, localised or targeted rights holders and broadcasters launching a service.
