Sunrise revamps executive committee as it completes UPC integration

Liberty Global-backed Swiss service provider Sunrise has revamped its executive committee as it completes the integration with the former UPC Switzerland.

André Krause

The new executive committee will be made up of eight members: André Krause, CEO; Severina Pascu, Deputy CEO and chief consumer officer; Jany Fruytier, chief financial officer; Robert Redeleanu, chief business officer; Elmar Grasser, chief technology officer; Duncan Macdonald, chief information officer; obias Foster, chief people officer and Marcel Huber, general counsel and chief corporate affairs officer.

Former members Nadine Zollinger, Françoise Clemes, Giuseppe Bonina and Robert Wigger, who decided in September to leave, will leave Sunrise after a transition period.

In December 2020 Sunrise started to put in place an organization and a management team suited to challenges of integration, the delivery of the day-to-day operational business and to further the strategic development of our company, as the company put it.

Sunrise said that the biggest part of the integration activities had now been successfully implemented, including a new portfolio for both consumer and business services, two refreshed brands and broad harmonization, especially of human resources.

The company said that it would now focus on strategy execution, maximizing market focus, further improving customer excellence, and value-driven customer management.
