New leadership structure for Canal+ France as Cadoret leaves

Canal+ Group deputy CEO and Canal+ France boss Frank Cadoret is to leave the group on November 1, with the pay TV outfit submitting a new organisational structure for consultation.

Canal+ plans to implement a new structure that will see Christophe Pinard-legry named as CEO of Canal+ France in charge of the overall business, while Gérald-Brice Viret will be named as head of channels and programmes.

The reorganisation is aimed at enlarging the pair’s responsibilities with Pinard-Legry focusing on digital growth and heading quality projects, while Viret will lead the advertising business in France and all production of digital content.

The activities of Canal+ in Switzerland, previously the responsibility of Cadoret, will now be transferred to Canal+ International.
