Curiosity launches podcast network

Curiosity, the company started by Discovery founder John Hendricks and operator of factual streamer CuriosityStream, has announced a move into podcasting. 

Launched in partnership with leading podcast publisher iHeartMedia, the Curiosity Audio Network will feature original content along with podcasts to complement programming on CuriosityStream.

The first series from the network available now is the One Day University podcast series, which showcases lectures from professors at some of the world’s top colleges and universities with topics ranging from literature to history. 

Later this year, the network will premiere its first original podcast co-produced with iHeartMedia about the death of the “Cold War Cowboy” Dean Reed. All shows will be distributed by the iHeartPodcast Network which is home to more than 750 original podcasts with over 440 million downloads each month
