GTPL Hathway selects Verimatrix for Android TV security

India’s largest Multi-Service Operator (MSO) GTPL Hathway Limited has announced a deal with security firm Verimatrix.

The agreement will see GTPL Hathway utilise the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) to protect its DVB Hybrid network for millions of Google Android TV-based devices.

The tech for DVB Hybrid offers GTPL with protection and flexibility for scale across India.
