Meo launches new baby health channel for parents

Portuguese service provider Altice Portugal/Meo has launched a new à la carte health-themed channel aimed at parents of young children, sponsored by pharmacies group Farmácias Portugesas.

Meo Bebé por Farmácias Portugesas will focus on information to support new parents. The content, edited by maternal health and obstetrics specialist Marília Pereira, is organised around four themes: pregnancy; childbirth and postpartum experience; O Bebé, a strand focusing on child health issues, sleeping and feeding; and Extras, a strand focusing on various topics including reactions to the arrival of a new sibling.

Meo Bebé por Farmácias Portugesas is available to Meo customers for €9.99 a month or €99.99 for an annual subscription. The channel is accessible via Meo’s TV service at channel 79 or through the blue button on the Meo remote, as well as on the operator’s multiscreen offering, Meo Go.

Meo Bebé will also be made available via Android TV and Apple TV in the near future, according to the operator.

In addition to Farmácias Portugesas, the service is sponsored by Italian kids clothing and accessories retailer Chicco.
