M3 selects XroadMedia for personalised OTT service

National Media Group-owned M3 has announced a partnership with XroadMedia to provide a personalised OTT offering for its service in Russia.

The platform, more.tv, is available either as a subscription or advertising-based service. The collaboration between the two companies has enabled content discovery, recommendations and personalization in the more.tv service.

The platform itself offers a broad selection of unique original series, exclusive international premieres, catch-up episodes and shows from popular Russian TV channels and live sports events.

XroadMedia’s Ncanto solution delivers highly relevant content to users based on their watching behavior, interests and preferences. Piloto, XroadMedia’s advanced management tool and user-friendly GUI allows M3’s operational team to make changes in the content delivery to users quickly and easily.

M3 is also using XroadMedia’s business intelligence tool, Yaveo, to monitor and analyse all important business KPIs in real-time.

Sergey Bakaev, Product Manager at M3, said: “Owning a large library of video content, we were looking for a solution that could help us to offer intelligent recommendations and personalization for our users. XroadMedia quickly convinced us about their capabilities and, thanks to their well-documented service and very responsive customer support, we were able to very quickly on-board their solution and introduce a personalized user experience to our users in the shortest time possible.”

Adolf Proidl, Co-Founder and CEO of XroadMedia, said: “We are delighted to announce our first customer in Russia, which is another testament to the rapid growth our company is experiencing in the past years. With M3 we have found an ideal customer to start in a new region as their teams are forward thinking and embrace innovation – two characteristics our personalization solution is built on. We are thrilled that M3 is putting their trust into our solution to make users aware of the unique and high-quality content offering they have in the Russian market.”
