Endeavor names chief digital officer

Talent and media agency holding company Endeavor has named former eBay and PayPal executive Guy Schory as its first chief digital officer.

Schory will lead Endeavor’s digital efforts across product management, marketing, data platforms, advertising and commerce, and will operate Endeavor’s digital D2C and B2B businesses, including Endeavor Streaming, which provides premium video streaming distribution for live and on-demand sports and entertainment content.

Among other activities, Endeavor represents the NFL and NHL sports leagues and owns the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Miss Universe competitions.

Schory most recently served in a variety of leadership roles at eBay and PayPal, where he led global strategic initiatives focused on scaling key capabilities in commerce and payments, including mergers and acquisitions, R&D development, strategic partnerships and innovation programmes. His tenure also included leadership roles in product management and corporate strategy.

He was responsible for several of eBay’s consumer mobile products and digital marketing platforms, and is an inventor of three issued patents in e-commerce and mobile technologies.

Schory is also a member of the board of directors and advisory boards of several technology and commerce companies, including Timbuk2 and Dataminr.
