In a statement, Net Insight said that Hellström is leaving to take a new assignment as CEO at a Swedish consulting firm and that the process of finding her replacement has begun.

“Maria has been employed at Net Insight since 2014 and has been a committed, competent and appreciated colleague, first as VP Services, and since September as COO,” said Net Insight’s interim CEO, Henrik Sund.

“Maria has played a key role during the company’s acquisition of ScheduALL where she led the newly acquired business from the Florida office. I want to thank Maria for her efforts and wish her best of luck in her future career.”

Hellström said: “I have had a fantastic time with Net Insight where I have had the privilege of working together with a highly competent team and with media industry top players and being a part of a very exciting journey with our American business.”

The news marks the latest in a string of executive moves at the company. Net Insight’s chief technology officer and vice-president of product portfolio, Martin Karlsson, stepped down at the end of August.

Meanwhile, Net Insight CEO Fredrik Tumegård left the company earlier this year and was replaced on an interim basis by Sund on June 1. Sund is due to take over as the company’s new permanent chief executive officer on December 1.
