The networks join the twelve existing Discovery GO apps and bring more than 22,000 titles to the platform – increasing the number of titles across all the apps to 45,000.

“Discovery’s suite of GO apps super-serves the consumer with the content they love and creates the ultimate viewing experience across all screens and platforms,” said Karen Leever, Discovery’s US president of digital products and marketing.

“The addition of these networks to our platform allows our superfans direct access to over a thousand series to binge, catch up or watch live.”

Discovery’s senior vice-president of TV everywhere ad sales, Lauri Baker, said: “With 30% of our streams coming from library content, these additions create a whole new world of opportunity for our advertisers and offer them a greater variety of options in a viewable, brand-safe environment.”

Discovery launched its suite of TV Everywhere GO apps in 2016. They are available on the web and on Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, iOS, Android, Chromecast, Xbox One and Samsung TV.

Discovery’s GO apps offer live and on-demand programming, as well as more than 1,000 titles of original content created for the platform by Discovery Digital Studios.

The company says that the apps are available to 85 million households and on 200 million connected devices in the US, with 61% of GO app viewers falling between the ages of 18-44.
