Nickelodeon names VP of live entertainment

Nickelodeon has upped Susan Vargo to vice president of global live entertainment, overseeing the creative development and production of all major Nickelodeon stage shows.

Vargo will also lead the entertainment programs for the Nickelodeon’s resorts, theme parks and attractions around the world.

Based in London she will report to executive vice president, preschool brand creative and marketing, global experience design, Anne Mullen.

Vargo has more than two decades of live events experience, most recently serving as the executive producer of Broadway show, The SpongeBob SquarePants Musical.

She has also produced a number of live global tours for several Nickelodeon characters, including Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the City of Lost Toys; The Backyardigans Live; and PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure.
