Heyou Media appoints former Canal+ International exec to the board

Heyou Media has appointed Rights Stuff founder and former Canal+ International CEO, Wendy Bernfeld, and managing partner at Pioneer Venture Partners, Pete Bryant, to its advisory board.

Bernfeld brings more than 25 years of experience to the role and is well versed in digital and cross-platform content – including film, on-demand, mobile and VR content.

Bryant was recently executive vice president of corporate development at Vubiquity, which was bought by Amdocs in February, and has more than 17 years across business development, operations, partnerships and distribution.

The pair will join Pearl Jam manager, Kelly Curtis; Xbox co-creator, Ed Fries; global business executive, Douglas Shinsato; former Facebook and Amazon executive, Rudy Gadre; and digital technology executive, Bill Ruckelshaus on the company’s advisory board.

“The worldwide appetite for mobile devices, online and multi-platform digital entertainment is only intensifying, since Heyou Media started our journey a little more than a year ago,” said Tom Skerritt, founder and chairman of Heyou Media.

US-based Heyou Media develops and distributes cross-platform visual entertainment, including long-form features and series, music, short-form video, web series, virtual reality and special interest videos.
