Freesat adds UKTV Play to on-demand offering

Freesat, the UK’s free-to-view satellite TV platform, has added catch-up service UKTV Play to its on demand offering.

Freesat customers will be able to watch shows from Dave, Yesterday, Really and Drama via the UKTV Play app or directly via the rollback TV guide.

The addition of UKTV Play brings catch-up content and boxsets of popular shows such as Taskmaster, Red Dwarf and Judge Romesh to Freesat viewers. This month, UKTV Play will be premiering Dr Christian Will See You Now and Inside the Ambulance, which until now, have only been available on the broadcaster’s W channel.
