Black Mirror topped a Netflix-dominated top 10 in Parrot Analytics’ analysis of the most in-demand digital originals in Russia for the week ending May 20.
Parrot Analytics analyses the demand for recent popular digital titles across international markets, based on the application of artificial intelligence to expressions of demand across social media, fan sites, peer-to-peer protocols and file-sharing platforms.
Black Mirror garnered an average of 6.743 million demand expressions for the week from May 14-20, putting it comfortably ahead of number two-placed Stranger Things with 5.441 million.
The remainder of the top five comprised 13 Reasons Why, the second season of which has just been launched, Narcos and Altered Carbon.
The only non-Netflix title to make the top 10 was Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, placed at number nine with 3.617 million demand expressions.
Other shows in the top 10 were Lost in Space, Mindhunter, Ozark and The Rain.
