ThinkAnalytics has appointed Deluxe Entertainment Services executive, Simon McGrath, as chief operating officer (COO) and senior vice president (SVP) of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific regions.
McGrath has 30 years’ experience in the TV technology sector. He joins from Deluxe Entertainment Services where he was SVP of strategy and business development, prior to which he was European managing director at thePlatform – now Comcast Technology Solutions.
McGrath’s has previously also worked as chief marketing officer and commercial director for Europe at SeaChange International and as deputy CEO of On Demand Group until SeaChange acquired the business.
“The second golden age of television is being driven by new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence and consumer analytics. As the industry focus shifts to content production, content marketing and understanding the consumer better, ThinkAnalytics is playing a pivotal role in helping operators embrace the same big data that retailers have been doing for years with loyalty schemes and real-time point of sale data,” said McGrath.

ThinkAnalytics announced the appointment of former Vubiquity executive, Gabriel Berger, as CEO last month.
