Fox Netherlands taps TVT/DMC for channel delivery

Fox Netherlands has selected content services company TVT/DMC to deliver the channel to Dutch audiences.

The deal means that all Fox Network Group Benelux channels are now deployed on TVT/DMC’s virtualised ‘private broadcast cloud’.

Launched in June 2017, the all-IP platform offers flexibility, scale and capacity and already carries the Fox Belgium, 24 Kitchen and National Geographic channels.

“Content delivery that we can count on is fundamentally important to our operations,” said director of broadcast operations, Fox Networks Group, Jan de Vries.

“We need to be sure our programmes will always arrive to our audiences, when they are scheduled and in the correct form. TVT/DMC provides the reliability and innovation that enables us to respond to the demands of today’s audiences.”

Raymond Lamphen, senior vice-president of operations at TVT/DMC, said its platform offers Fox Netherlands “the capability to adapt to new and growing demands of scale and capacity as required, responding to the complexities of the Dutch content market and its growing demands for linear, on-demand and online entertainment media.”
