Axinom has announced a new Content Management System designed to let media vendors and service providers build OTT and TV Everywhere services.
Axinom CMS is an OTT development platform designed to cover the full end-to-end OTT media workflow.
The building blocks span media ingest and encoding, asset and meta data management, catalogue and product management, digital rights management, advertising, customer management and multi-channel delivery, according to the firm.
The system supports other Axinom products like Axinom DRM 6 (Multi DRM) and Axinom Encoding Platform with default workflows for content protection, encoding and transcoding.
Axinom CMS supports both cloud-based and on-premise IT infrastructures and claims to minimise capex costs by introducing rental option priced at €300 per month.
“With Axinom CMS we enable media vendors to build the next Netflix within weeks. Our product is designed to be easily customized and adapted to the customer’s needs,” said Stefanie Schuster, director of business development at Axinom.
“I am happy that we are able to offer the new rental opportunity with low capex costs and I really look forward to see great new media solutions based on our technology. There is no OTT media scenario our customers cannot cover with Axinom CMS.”
Axinom will exhibit at IBC on stand 14. H15
