New chief for Canal+ free-to-air channels

Canal+ has named Xavier Gandon as director-general of its free-to-air channels D8 and D17.

Gandon reports to Ara Aprikian, Canal+’s deputy CEO in charge of free-to-air programming. He joined Canal+ in 2012 as programming director at D8 and D17, having previously served as director of programing at TMC and NTI.
