CNBC makes key international appointments

News channel CNBC has made a number of key appointments to its international team.

CNBC has promoted Jacqueline Lam to the new position of vice-president of international distribution, managing all of its existing distribution and affiliate relationships and growing the network’s reach by securing new opportunities with cable, satellite and broadband partners. She previously led the distribution and marketing for CNBC in Asia Pacific and is based in Singapore.

The news channel has promoted Singapore-based former Asia Pacific sales chief Junji Sumitani to vice-president of international business development, charged with identifying and developing new business opportunities across CNBC in Asia Pacific and EMEA.

CNBC has also promoted Justin Davison to vice-president, sales, UK and western Europe. Davison previously led CNBC’s sales in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Germany and Scandinavia.

Finally, former regional director of advertising sales Kerry Tarrant has been promoted to vice-president, sales, Asia Pacific.
