Red Bee to supply live subtitling for ESPN UK

Red Bee Media has struck a multi-year deal to supply live subtitles for ESPN UK’s live sports network, beginning this month.

The deal marks the first time that ESPN UK’s live sports network is providing live subtitles on all of ESPN’s live coverage of Barclays Premier League, Scottish Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup, England Under 21 matches, certain FIFA World Cup qualifying matches, Aviva Premiership Rugby and other European football matches. Red Bee Media also delivers audio description services for certain ESPN documentaries.

The deal follows Red Bee’s provision of live subtitling for the BBC’s Olympics coverage and Channel 4’s coverage of the Paralympics this summer.
