Samsung to add Spotify to Smart TVs

Samsung plans to become the first TV manufacturer to bring the Spotify music streaming service to its connected TVs later this year.

Samsung said Spotify’s on-demand music library would be available to its Smart TVs in Europe. The Spotify app will also be available on connected Blu-ray players and home theatre systems.

Spotify is already available via Virgin Media’s platform in the UK.
