MTS wins approval for possible ZhegGorTelekom acquisition

Russian service provider MTS has won approval from the country’s anti-monopoly regulator for the acquisition of Kursk region ISP ZhegGorTelekom.

MTS will now consider whether to go ahead with the purchase of ZhegGorTelekom, which provides services to about 15,000 subscribers in the city of Zheleznogorsk.
